The Learning Zone is a safe, welcoming space with a gentle incline designed for beginners. The surface lift, Kirby’s Karpet, brings skiers and riders to the top of the area. Having a dedicated location for beginners facilitates a supportive learning environment that allows for natural progression.

For non-beginners, The East Meadow Chair leads ¼ of the way up the mountain, unlocking more green circle terrain. This is where you will take your skills to the next level so that you feel comfortable skiing and riding on intermediate and advanced terrain—like the East Side Steeps.
